While other sales agents may have prettier sites with nice personal photos, if you contact the firm, you likely may get the person who is on "desk duty" You have no idea what the agent knows about the area you are interested in. Some brokers may have 100 agents and continue to recruit "newbies." My approach is VERY different. I am a very experienced broker/owner. I am also the only person in my firm and plan to keep it that way. I make no claim to knowing about all the homes in Las Vegas. My specialty is the 55+ age group – the baby boomers. My focus for homes is entirely on the two best 55+ communities in Las Vegas because I think they are your best value for the money. I live in one of them. I will not push you beyond your price range.. I will not be ii an rush to close before you are ready.

Born in Oakland, CA, I was awarded B.S., MBA and Ph.D. degrees from U. of California Berkeley with specialization in real estate and finance.
I became a tenured professor at UCLA, was Asst. Dean of the Business School and then the School of Architecture and Urban Planning where I organized the planning program. While in the LA area, I purchased homes for rental investment and was a partner in an appraisal firm.
I then went to Washington D.C. as Chief Economist and Director of Economic Research for the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. While there I taught the graduate MBA real estate finance class in the Wharton School. No, Donald Trump was not my student. He was an undergraduate.
Returning to California, I co-founded two companies: one being the Silicon Valley World Internet Center in Palo Alto, co-purchased shopping centers and taught real estate finance at The Haas School of Business at U.C Berkeley and then real estate development at the Stanford Business School.
I bought a 40 acre parcel in the Sierra foothills, lived there and was the owner/broker of a residential real estate firm in Murphys, CA. In 2004, bothered by California costs and taxes, I migrated to Henderson, NV
Have written articles on residential real estate investment and been editor of three books on real estate investment and finance, I enjoy researching and writing. Currently I am writing a series of essays Migration of the Baby Boomer to the Southwest.
